Designed for curious young learners, our Grade 1 and 2 Morning Program invites children to begin their days discovering the wonders of nature through a rich, thoughtfully planned Earth Science curriculum.
Families may choose a one- or two-day-per-week option (Tuesday and/or Thursday), with learning guided by a dedicated Ontario Certified Teacher. This small, intimate program blends structured instruction with authentic outdoor exploration, nurturing each child’s natural curiosity and supporting their whole-child development.
Children arrive at 9:00am and begin their morning with a nutritious snack before heading out to explore our 100 acres of forests, fields, and trails. Each session introduces key Earth Science concepts through hands-on, inquiry-based experiences. Whether studying soil layers, observing seasonal changes, investigating habitats, or exploring natural phenomena, children learn by engaging directly with the land.
Although the program is rooted in outdoor learning, children also have opportunities to bring their discoveries into our beautiful indoor classroom. Here, additional learning invitations—literacy, numeracy, art, and collaborative projects—foster deeper reflection and continued growth.
The morning concludes at 11:45am, leaving children grounded, inspired, and connected to the natural world.
To ensure high-quality interactions and meaningful experiences, class sizes are intentionally kept small.
Program Fees:
• 1 day/week: $220 per month
• 2 days/week: $400 per month
This enriched part-time program offers the perfect balance for families seeking to supplement their child’s education with joyful, land-based learning guided by caring professionals.
